Rain, rain go away

Rain, rain go away and don't come back another day! Where is Noah and his ark when I need him?
Ok, I was misleading in my last blog. Fay is turning into a very big deal! She has stalled right over the top of us and has been that way for 36 hours. We are being washed out to sea and I really don't want to have to deal with the sharks biting my toes.
The weather man tells us she isn't going anywhere, anytime soon. It has rained for 24 hours straight. We have received approximately 8 inches of rain and the weather man tells us to expect several more before this is over.
I woke up to a leaking Florida Room ceiling. Aargh!! We have laundry buckets strategically placed to catch most of the water. We will put a tarp on the roof and hope that slows down the leak a little. There's not much else we can do at this point but wait until the storm passes.
We are also getting wind gusts up to 50 mph. I am keeping my fingers crossed that all of the trees can withstand the winds in spite of the fact that the ground is so wet the roots have nothing to hold onto. Keeping a happy thought!!
Life is always and forever an exciting adventure filled with surprises, both good and bad. Fay falls somewhere in the middle.
On a more positive note........the Cavanaugh wedding is only 16 days away. Everything on that front is going well. Yaay!

I have been thinking about you and wondering if you were surviving the wrath of Fay. We will keep you in our prayers, and look forward to the Happy Day!
