LYMLIGHT PRODUCTIONS SCARES THE DICKEN'S OUT OF SCROOGE THIS HOLIDAY SEASON!
Central Florida families will holiday in 19th century London when they enjoy the Lyman High School Drama Department's production of A Christmas Carol, with performances December 4-6 @ 7:00pm.
The award-winning Lymlight Productions of Lyman High School in Longwood, FL stages this great classic that tells the tale of Ebenezer Scrooge (played by Zachary Cavanaugh) miserly barking his famous quote Bah Humbug which makes the audience pity old Scrooge, and wonder why the Christmas Holidays are such a miserable time for him. Visited by the ghost of his old business partner Jacob Marley (played by Alex Ibarguen) Scrooge is warned of the three other ghosts that will visit him that night to save him from his own doomed afterlife.
Lymlight Productions will feature one of their largest casts ever for a play. Fifty-one characters including guest artists from surrounding Middle and Elementary schools fill the stage and beguile the audience as Ebeneezer Scrooge faces his own mortality. Audience members with children should take care that some visual and audio effects may be too scary for the younger set.
