Life is good

It's 1:00 AM and I'm unable to sleep. It's been an extraordinarily busy day, in a good way. As always, when I spend the day running around I can't seem to relax and sleep at night. So, here I am with thoughts running wildly in all directions.

I ran into a great friend today, Roxann. She moved from my ward about a year ago and when I bumped into her at the dentist office I was thrilled! We had a good visit. She's a grandmother now. My how fast our lives go by!

My thoughts turn toward the friends and family I have and how they influence my life every day. I have good friends all over the country, Arizona, Tennessee, Florida, Utah, Washington, California, Georgia, Colorado. How lucky I am!!!

I got a phone call from Shaun and Shane both today! That doesn't happen very often. Awesome! I do miss them and their families.

Two of the young women I worked with approx. six years ago have moved back into my ward with their husbands and it is so rewarding to see what wonderful, righteous women they have become. I'm working again with the Laurels and MiaMaids in our YW's and I love being with them. They are so ahead of where I was at their age spiritually. I'm constantly amazed at their wisdom. I enjoy being with Cait in Young Women's. It allows me to bond with her not just as Mom, but as a leader as well.

All in all, life is good!
